Young, energetic, effortlessly entertaining and quite possibly the most mysterious person ever to sit behind a Nifty microphone.
Scarlett is one of the newest voices on Nifty UK Radio, bringing a fresh perspective, plenty of personality and an impressive ability to make herself sound like she knows exactly what she’s doing.
She’s currently studying at Oldham College, but when she’s not dealing with assignments, deadlines and the general business of being a student, Scarlett can be found doing what she really loves: talking, laughing, playing great music and generally keeping everyone around her entertained.

What she does when she’s not at college? Also classified.
Her favourite food? Classified.
Her age? We’re not stupid.
What we can tell you is that Scarlett has a genuine love of music and a natural ability to connect with people. She’s quick-witted, curious and not afraid to throw herself into whatever is happening in the studio. There’s a confidence behind the microphone that suggests she’s either been doing this for years… or has simply worked out that nobody can see you panic when the mic light is on.
Scarlett’s musical taste is broad, although she has a particular weakness for those massive songs that make you turn the radio up whether you’re driving, working, studying or standing in the kitchen pretending you’re not actually dancing.
And then there’s the mystery.
There are rumours Scarlett has an unusually impressive collection of useless knowledge. There are also rumours she can identify certain songs from the first half-second of the intro. We have yet to establish whether either of these things is true.
She refuses to comment.
What we do know is that Scarlett represents exactly what we love about Nifty UK Radio: a new generation of broadcasters, a huge love of music and absolutely no interest in sounding like every other station on the dial.
She’s studying at Oldham College. She’s learning her craft. She’s finding her voice.
And she’s already sounding right at home on Nifty.
