HYPE Social on the Square is a youth led market event held in the town centre to showcase the talents and business ideas developed through the project. From handmade crafts to food stalls and creative services, young entrepreneurs had the opportunity to trade publicly, test their products and gain real life experience in enterprise. The event was a clear demonstration of the programme’s impact bringing together community, creativity and commerce while giving young people a visible platform to shine. It has since laid the foundation for future youth enterprise initiatives in the town

After the absolute stormer of a day we had last time, we’re buzzing to announce that HYPE in Hyde returns on Saturday 30th August.
If you were there earlier in the year, you already know – Hyde brought the noise, the vibes, and the love. It was a proper community moment, with tunes, laughter, dodgy dancing and a full-on lavender-scented candle subplot. Expect the same madness again:
Big Al’s back as ringmaster, with his quick wit, giant appetite. The Nifty crew will be on the decks to soundtrack your day with absolute bangers.
And there might even be another surprise stage invasion from local legends (or someone’s nan – we don’t judge).
From community stalls to chaos on the mic, HYPE 2025 is all about bringing Hyde together for one brilliant, bonkers day.
