🎧 Inside Nifty Towers: Studio 2 – The Blue Room 🔵

Say hello to Studio 2, the bigger, bolder sibling in the Nifty UK Radio family – affectionately dubbed the blue room. It’s where things get a bit more high-tech, a bit more spacious… and a lot more random.

Decked out with updated kit, mood lighting, and a large Oldham Athletic logo proudly emblazoned on the wall (because of course), Studio 2 is where many of our weekend presenters mysteriously choose to hang out – possibly because there’s room to stretch, breathe, and drop the occasional dad dance mid-link.

It’s a favourite haunt of Lee Glasby, who’s been spotted on more than one occasion doing his Breakfast Show prep in his pyjamas – proving once and for all that radio really is a no-pants-required profession.

Studio 2 is quite a tech-savvy space, with fancy buttons, blinking lights, and enough kit to make even the most gadget-obsessed presenter feel like they’re flying a plane. Despite this, it remains gloriously unpredictable – you never quite know if you’re walking into a serious session or a spontaneous dance-off.

From big Saturday shows to laid-back Sunday vibes, Studio 2 is where weekend magic happens – proudly flying the flag for Oldham, comfort, and cutting-edge chaos.
